Right now I’m in the midst of unpacking, doing wash, and trying to get my life back in order before returning to work tomorrow. While on the plane I had a chance to organize our pictures so that I can finally order one of those really cool coffee table books that we talk about but never order. Unfortunately, my husband has realized that I’m not a domestic diva. But, at least I won the battle convincing him to “lug” the DSLR on our trip to Bermuda. It was the best decision ever!
While I spend the rest of the evening unpacking, and putting together the health & beauty giveaway box, we hope you all will enjoy a few pictures from our trip!

I with you on batch cooking on the weekends. I love it and I get home late from work every night because of my commute and I love walking in the door knowing I have a healthy dinner waiting for me.
I’ve used ziploc bags for tons of stuff…if you get the really sturdy ones, you can even freeze sauces in them laying down flat, so they’re super easy and space-efficient to keep!
I’ve been really working hard to pack lunches instead of buying a lunch for the past 2 months. It helps me stay within my financial & caloric budget. 1-gallon ziploc have saved the day more than once 🙂

I have never tried Garlic Gold. Everyone keeps raving about it, so maybe I should try it! I kind of gave up on the ziploc bag thing as well. We still use them occasionally, but now I use tupperware for my lunches and snacks that I bring to work. Packing a lunch is definitely cheaper. I rarely eat out for breakfast or lunch anymore! So much easier on the waistline and the wallet. 🙂

I had chili last night too! it was just veggie chili but it was perfect because it was a cool evening and I had a bad day at work. I <3 comfort food.

Love the idea of salad in a bag, just might have to do that for hubby since a big bowl of salad doesn’t fit in his lunch box! lol The chili looks amazing!
